Meet Ohio board-certified plastic surgeon and certified wound specialist Dr. Richard Simman.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Richard Simman has been practicing in the Dayton, Ohio area for over five years. He has convenient offices at Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg, Samaritan North Health Center in Dayton, and Artisan Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Toledo. Dr. Simman he offers a variety of plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery services.

Dr. Simman's background includes training in General Surgery at St. Luke's–Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University in New York, NY, and a Plastic Surgery residency at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers in Southfield, MI under the supervision of Dr. Ian T. Jackson, a world famous plastic surgeon. In addition, Ohio plastic surgeon Dr. Simman completed a Burn Fellowship followed by a Research Fellowship at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

As an active clinician and researcher, Dr. Simman's work has been published in numerous major journals, including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery, Aesthetics of Plastic Surgery, The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, Wounds, Academic Emergency Medicine, and others. He is an active member of numerous medical associations. Dr. Simman is an associate clinical professor at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and currently serves as president of the American College of Certified Wound Specialists (ACCWS)
